Launching Word

As with other Macintosh applications, to start Word you can double-click on the application icon or one of its documents. To get to the Word application icon, follow the instructions on the document entitled CSO Public Sites Software.

Quitting Word

To quit Word, all you need to do is use the File menu:

• Choose Quit from the File menu.

When you quit Word, it knows that it needs to close all of the open documents. Therefore, you will be asked to save changes should you have any documents open.

If you are asked to save changes, this means there is a document open that has changed since you last opened or created it.
